Physical Description: Danielle stands at 5’3” tall, weighing in around 120 pounds. She tends to take care of her body less now than she did before the virus took hold of her world seeing as she has stopped dancing over the past year. In some ways, it is her way of escaping. A set of 100 crunches tires her out enough to keep her from thinking about everything that has happened and is still happening around her. She has long brown hair that seems to have a mind of its own; some days it can be a wild mass of curls and other days it is straight and tame. Her body shape is of mild curves (just enough for people to look, but not so much that people will stare.) Having come from a wealthy family, she is practically flawless when it comes to her features. Her deep brown eyes seem to pop off her cream-colored skin. She typically can be found wearing Ace's sweatshirts and other clothes because she finds that they still smell like him. Distinguishing Marks: Danni has two distinguishing marks on her body. The first is a scar above her left eyebrow from when her older cousin threw a doll at her forehead when they were little. The second is a crescent-shaped moon birthmark on her right hip. Sexual Orientation: Straight. Single or taken: Single. Best friend: No one. She doesn't trust anyone since Ace was murdered. Personality: Danni is a very genuine person. She isn’t afraid to say what is on her mind, especially if she is talking to the people closest to her. Ever since she was little, she had a knack for defending herself and being “one of the guys.” True, she enjoys being girly sometimes, but she’d much rather dress comfortably and be an active participant without worrying about her hair like most girls her age would be. The virus epidemic instilled fear in her. Relationships aren’t one of the first things on her mind seeing as she is afraid to get close to people since she doesn’t know who she will lose next. After allowing herself to fall in love with Ace and have him be murdered right in front of her eyes, she has shut down a lot. Her pain is evident in her eyes and there is a bite to her now. She is still a very genuine person, but now the thing she says could get her into trouble, or possibly murdered. Personal History: Danni was born on September 23, 1999 to two incredibly loving parents. Due to medical advancements, her parents got to choose the specific time and date of her birth, making it coincide with the full moon of that month. Her parents had conceived her under the full moon (at least that was what she was always told) and it seemed to have stuck to her through her whole life. She was her father’s little Star. Her mother liked to take her up to the roof of their house with a blanket. They would lie on their backs and her mother would point out the various constellations and bodies in the sky. Each star had its own story. To this day, Danni can look up at the sky and point them out with a sad smile. Her parents tried to keep her life relatively normal, despite the large sum of money they had due to their name. Her parents sent her to all of the best schools, hoping to give her the education she deserved. They stuck her in dance classes at the age of 3. She stood onstage for her first ballet performance, dancing amidst her waving and crying classmates, dancing as perfectly as she could. From that point on, her parents enrolled her in every dance class they could. This was not handed to her on a golden platter, however. Being the kind of parents who refused to spoil their children, she had to keep her grades up and maintain some of the chores around the house. School wasn’t something that was difficult for Danni, either. She loved dressing up in her dance costumes and dance shoes to prance down the halls as her teachers took her to her “fun” classes, such as art or gym. One day, she asked her teacher for a pass to go to the bathroom. Out she went, flouncing down the hall in her hip hop costume, a pair of baggy pants and a cute t-shirt, along with her tap shoes. Tap tap tap. She added a shuffle here and mock pull-back there, as she went down the empty hall. Not paying attention to where she was going, she tapped herself right into a boy who was a bit taller than her. Not wanting to take the blame for herself, she pulled her foot back and with one quick move, she tapped him quite hard under his knee. Flustered at being interupted in the middle of her pretend tap routine, she stomped her foot back onto the ground. The next thing she knew, she was being dragged to the office with the boy, where she met the final two people that would eventually complete the infamous foursome – a memory that he would not let her forget to this day many years later.  School seemed to pass by much quicker after this event, filled with many dance recitals, birthday celebrations, and adventures with her new friends. High school came and went and on the day of her graduation from high school, she graduated number 2 in her class. She while she had the pick of the litter for top schools to go to, she decided to stay at home and go to a smaller school close to home. She had a lot of trouble that first year dealing with Ace and ____ going on their year-long exploration of the world. Through this year a lot happened. She ended up meeting a male named ____ who she got close to. While he could never take the place as best friend that Ace held, he was a momentary relief from their separation. Over time, she and ____ got closer and became quite a bit more than friends. As time would have it, the relationship faded, as most do. School became her number one priority again, dancing was her major, with a focus in education. All of the sudden, people around her started becoming sick. When her parents fell ill, she took time off of school, planning to go back when she nursed them back to health. The moment they died was perhaps the moment that changed her. She had always thought they’d be there until she was much older. After the loss of her parents, she stayed at home all the time, hoping to contract the disease that killed them as well as the rest of the population who were 25 and older. This lasted for quite some time, until Ace showed up at her doorstep with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a shoulder. He let her cry until she couldn’t anymore. After realizing that she needed to move on with her life, with the help of Ace and her friends, she started picking herself up again. She and her friends formed a tribe called the Mountain Lions. She moved into the Mountain Lion’s Lodge, with everyone else. The comfort of being close has helped her get through and go back to being herself. The fear of losing someone else she cares about, however, continues to haunt her. Danni, Ace and the other two leaders led a successful tribe. Danni's role was more in the shadows, though it was possibly one of the most important of the leaders. She was known as the mother of the tribe by most of the Mountain Lions. She cooked for them and mended their clothing. Beyond those surface jobs, she took the inventory of the entire camp. She and Ace were the ones to take notes of everything and how it worked in case of things breaking down. She knows where all of the secret storage in the camp is because she is the one who planned where things went. She knew where the extra food storage was, where the medicines were, and where the extra parts were placed. Perhaps this was her job because she was the least likely to be suspected of knowing such things and in the case of the others dying, she would still be around to take care of things. Danni met Ryder, a Twin Feather who severely complicated things for Danni emotionally. She had made it a creed not to fall for anyone because she knew she'd lose them or they'd get hurt. When she started to fall for him after they got snowed in at Ryder's cabin, she distanced herself. Ryder sent her a very hurtful letter, to which Ace reacted very harshly. When he saw Danni crying, he found Ryder and bloodied him up pretty badly. When Danni confronted Ace about this, he confessed his love for her. The fear Danni felt at this moment was unlike any other. Here she was, faced with the option of true love, the one she had always dreamed of. Very few people were marrying these days, and here she was, with the possibility to do so. Days before the battle, Danni expressed her love for him. Mere days later, Ace and the other two ML leaders were murdered in front of her by Jax, leaving only her. Her hatred continues to grow for Jax and his Jackals as she plots an escape. Her only problem is that she isn't allowed to leave. There is no way for Jax to know that she knows secrets about this camp since none of the lower Mountain Lions had any idea what her purpose was.
